About Us
The Ponc modular shelving system is the product of a unique collaboration between two Irish furniture makers, united by a shared vision to bring production furniture back to Ireland.
Beginning
Knut Klimmek and Brian Tyrrell have both built strong reputations for quality design and craftsmanship. Klimmek Furniture has long been a fixture in Irish furniture design. Bear Creation brings a decade of creative energy and fresh perspective to the industry. Both designers share core beliefs about quality, sustainability, and the future of Irish furniture.
Process
When Knut suggested they collaborate on a new design. Brian jumped at the opportunity, and the pair decided to debut a joint project at an upcoming show. What came of that was an innovative modular shelving system that came to be known as Ponc.
Built for You
Brian and Knut want to hand over creative freedom to their customers. Years of bespoke work means they innately understand what clients want from a piece. From there they have translated their understanding into the design and compatability of their modules.

Based on our belief in longevity of our pieces, we want your Ponc shelves to grow or change with you. We will soon be offering a buy-back system for modules, so you can swap out and redesign as your life changes.
